Exciting times are happening at The Bolling Wilson Hotel as well as the fabulous dining experience you will find at Graze On Main. The Historical Hotel – known as the George Wythe Hotel, reopened the doors as the elegant Bolling Wilson in 2014. The Owners Bill and Farron Smith, saw a need to save the beautiful property and preserve the historical charm. Linking the name to the famous First Lady Edith Bolling Wilson, who’s childhood home is just steps from the front porch. You can visit The Edith Bolling Wilson Birthplace Foundation and Museum during your stay. The property went under a huge renovation and re-opened as a franchised (Choice Hotels/Ascend Collection) for ten years. They had great success and thousands of happy guests over the ten years.

After much consideration and new goals to achieve, The Smiths’ decided to take the lovely property to the next level with a big move. The decision to break away from the franchise and move to a fully independent boutique hotel. Taking much focus on elevating and preserving the history, guest satisfaction, and bring higher standards to the stay experience.

New General Manager – Shannon Roberts-Magenheimer, along with the management Team of TPG supported the big transition with great success, January 2025. Magenheimer coming from the resort industry in the upper west coast with career standards of customer service and revenue growth. She brought 35 plus years of hospitality experience to the table.
