This designation honors the Bolling Wilson Hotel’s enduring commitment to preserving its architectural integrity, rich history, and cultural significance. It places the hotel among a celebrated group of the nation’s most treasured historic properties.
A signature Historic Hotels of America bronze plaque has recently arrived and will soon grace the entrance of the hotel, proudly marking its place in American history and welcoming guests from around the world. These plaques symbolize not only historical excellence but also a dedication to hospitality rooted in legacy.
This national recognition will increase awareness of the Bolling Wilson Hotel and promote tourism throughout Downtown Wytheville, Wythe County, and the broader Southwest Virginia region.
